On July 19, 2020, Giulia Maria Crespi died at 97 years old. An entrepreneur and environmentalist ante litteram, she founded FAI (Italian Environment Fund) in 1975. Between the 1960s and 1970s, as a majority shareholder, she was a member of the board of directors of the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera.
