A little tyre centre at the back side of an old working class house near the end of Varesina street in the north-west part of Milan, Friday, October 2, 2007. This kind of houses are named "case di ringhiera" (houses with balustrade) and were built at the beginning of the last century for workers of the rising industries. © Carlo Cerchioli..Un gommista sul retro di una casa di ringhiera che si affaccia su via Varesina a Milano. Le case di ringhiera furono costruite per gli operai delle nascenti industrie milanesi.
